Papa and Gigi got the kids new Spiderman Underoos for Easter. They were all three thrilled to get to be super heroes even in their sleep!
Max and HIS Bobby. Papa and Bobby were the first two people Max asked for when he woked up nearly every morning. The rest of us might get a couple of kisses or a hug, but Bobby got the lion's share!
Dying Easter eggs...
Our sweet babies. We didn't even tell Kayden and Mason to do that. We asked them to scoot together for the pic and Kayden snuggled up to Mason and he put his arm around her. It was so sweet...
Their normal, screwball selves...
One of our new Easter traditions since moving to Texas is something called cascarones. They are basically hollowed out eggshells filled with confetti and dyed. You crack them over each other's heads and confetti goes every where. I'm not really sure who had more fun with this, the kids or the adults, but I'll just say my husband owes me after what he did to me with those eggs! There was confetti EVERYWHERE!
On Monday, Kayden had an appointment to get her four year pics done with the photographer that we usually use. Unfortunately, that fell through. Not to be daunted by such a little thing as no photographer, we loaded up the kids and headed to a beautiful park in University Park where Jamie played photographer and got the kids' pics. Mason was much more interested in the worm he found.
After lunch, the girls (me, Gayla, Jamie) took the kids to the park to run off a little steam before nap. Mason scaling the rock wall...
Max and Kayden are our more cautious children. Kayd wasn't sure about all that big stuff Mason was climbing on, but she definitely loved helping her baby cousin figure out how to navigate the preschool climbers.
What sweet angels! We had such a wonderful time with everyone-it just makes it harder to be away! Hopefully we'll be home again soon.
