Easter

I'm a little late getting this out--it's my TAKS season too = )  TAKS is our state assessment and counselors are in charge of managing it, so work has been a little crazy lately.  We had so much fun at Easter, though, I wanted to make sure this post went out!

We spent Easter this year in Port Aransas with Mom and Dad.  It was a wonderful weekend and the Bunny did find us, even in the camper = )

If you remember from my previous post about Port A, Mason had decided that he needed to learn how to surf.  Jacob had talked him in to boogie boarding instead and Mason was set on it!  We stopped and got each boy a boogie board (Max's stayed on shore) and Mason was off!

Notice the shark tooth necklace.  You'll get a better view of it later.  Mason was sure all surfers had a shark tooth necklace = )

Riding the waves with Dad.  At first, Mase wasn't sure what to think of it, but all it took was him catching one wave and he was hooked!  He stayed out there for about two hours on Friday and again for about 3 hours on Saturday.  I definitely think we have a future surfer on our hands.

Max never really cared for the water, prefering to stay on the sand and mess around.  This trip, he decided that maybe he'd give it a try.  He and Grandma stayed out forever--looks like another beach baby!

Easter morning was fun and the Bunny did a great job of hiding baskets even in the small camper.

Maxy is really in Yo Gabba Gabba right now and the Bunny left him a DJ Lance hat and glasses.  Pretty funny!

The boys in their snazzy clothes = )  I never really got a great pic, they were to excited for the egg hunt.

Silly faces!
Our handsome big boy.  (note the necklace = ))  He is getting so old--not sure that I like that much...

and our goofy baby!  He has started doing this funny cheese face every time we take a pic.

And the hunt.  It was a challenge finding enough hiding places in the campsite, but we managed!

We are really falling in love with Port A and can't wait to go back!  The next time we're down there, Mom and Dad's townhome should be finished!!!
