What a wonderful weekend! Since Mason's birthday is at the end of July, and the boys don't go to school in the summer, we decided to have Mason's friend party at the end of May so his school friends could come. This is the first year that Mason has had a friend party and he was really excited! Of course, he still wanted his cousins to come too and we were lucky to be able to have two of the four of them there! Thanks Gigi and Aunt Jodi (and Aunt Jamie for letting us kidnap Kayden for the weekend!)
Jayden and Mason being monkeys...
After nap, we decided to get brave and get out all the water toys.
The sprinkler ball. Max did not think that was such a fun toy and stayed far away at the water table most of the time.
Sunday it was time for the party! Mason wanted to have his party at Quiggly's Clayhouse, a pottery shop where the kids each get to paint a piece and then it's fired. All the kids seemed to have a great time!
The Batman cake...
Listening to directions. It's amazing how quiet and attentive 3, 4, & 5 year olds can be!
We weren't sure if Max would be able to sit still long enough to paint something or not, but decided to let him try. He surprised us all. He held on to his piece just like he was told and did a great job!
Goofy faces!
We finished off the day with dinner at Desperados. Mason loved it when they sang and brought out a sopapilla for him. He thought the hat was so cool that he wanted to take it home! He wore it all the way to the front door and only then did he take it off.
It was a great weekend and we are extremely blessed to be surrounded by wonderful friends and family. I'm glad that we had the friend birthday early--maybe that will help prepare me for when he really does turn FIVE!

Looks like you all had a blast! Uncle Bobby & I wish we could have been there too, but enjoyed our weekend away. Thank you all for taking care of Miss Kayden, hurt toe, whiney and all... ;)
We love you all!
