Boys and their toys

Max's birthday is in December and Jacob and I went together with Grandma and Pa (my mom and dad) to get him a John Deere Gator. When Mase was 2, they got him a John Deere tractor that Max had a ball with last summer. Given that December isn't a great time to play outside, even in Texas, we waited until now to get the Gator and it made it's outside debut today.

How does this thing work???

Good thing there are no flowers in there yet!

Turn Max, turn!

Two goofs in a Gator. Note the special drink (bubble water) in the cup holders. Notice also that Mason is totally crammed into the driver's seat. In order for Max to reach the pedal, we had to put the seat on the closest notch. Mason was so determined to drive, he wedged himself into the spot.

Jacob dubbed this the Shriner Circus. Max obviously doen't have steering down quite yet, but Mason does a great job leading him in a circle!

The Gator and tractor are sure to provide hours of fun for the boys--and I can probably cancel my gym membership with all the running I'll be doing to keep up with Max to help him turn!
