Stockyards. We decided late Friday morning to take a little vacation and go to Fort Worth for the evening and stay until Saturday. The boys were very excited about their Cowboy Vacation!
Max reading the program =)
Unfortunately for me, Mason's favorite event by far was the bull riding. He sat and watched, completely entranced. He also thought the clowns were pretty cool. Either way, I told Jacob that rodeo was NOT in Mason's future! He thought that riding a bull looked "AWESOME!"
There was a balloon artist walking around. The boys each got balloon swords and helmets.
Saturday was spent in the pool and then back to the Stockyards. Both boys got new boots! We were really just going after some for Mason, but as Mason was trying his on, Max kept pointing at his feet and saying boots, boots. I found a pair and tried them on him and he was so proud! Of course, we got them for him. Actually, he wouldn't let me take them off. He was walking around the stockyards in a t-shirt, shorts, and his new boots! He actually looked pretty cute!
We had a GREAT little cowboy vacation! It was nice to get to spend time with our "little family" as Mason calls it, since our family includes all cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents = )
